Broadway Bites. Yeah, it does!

If you’re still dreaming of Madison Square Eats and the tasty bites it brought to the Flatiron for those few short weeks- Have no fear! Herald Square is about to be transformed. Food stands have taken over Broadway once again bringing some of our favorite picks from Madison Square Eats just a few blocks North- plus some totally new options! June 3rd marks the opening day of Broadway Bites, and we can’t wait!

We take pride in navigating the best foodie picks in our neighborhood, so to make things that much easier we’ve compiled a list of the stands we’re most looking forward to trying!

Never have I ever tried “Gua Boa” aka a Taiwanese burger comprised of meat & veggies in a fluffy steamed bun. Sounds like the perfect summer sandwich to us!

Hai Street Kitchen & Co.

Sushi & burritos. Need we say more? If you love the cool flavors of sushi but you’re looking to take it a step further you’ve got to try a sushi burrito. It’s the perfect balance of refreshing and filling. We’re so into this fusion!

The Cannibal Dogs

It wouldn’t be New York without hot dogs! New York Magazine voted The Cannibal the best dog in town with its “cumin-laced beef-heart chili, plus raw onions & yellow mustard, and served on a squishy bun”. They had us with squishy.

There’s nothing like indulging in sweets during the workday. The doughnuttery is bringing us warm donuts with a variety of homemade dipping sauces and sweet drinks for pairing. Now that’s a well balanced meal!

Two Tablespoons

Okay, so maybe you can’t have donuts for lunch every dayIf you’re looking for something a bit more nutritional but oh-so-tasty, check out Two Tablespoons. All of their ingredients are gluten-free and packed with nutrients. You’ll find every rejuvenating color of nature in their locally grown and carefully prepared bowls!

Broadway Bites lasts until July 17th. We’d say you have plenty of time to check it out, but who are we kidding? There’s never enough time when it comes to food! Get tasting, Herald Square!
