Career Growth at The Yard

We’re excited to congratulate two members of The Yard team, Nicholas Minors and Adrian Simpson, for their tremendous career growth and recent promotions at The Yard. Nick and Adrian started at The Yard as community managers in 2017. From the beginning, they went above and beyond in their roles, forging a natural path to their newly formed positions. 

Based in D.C., Adrian Simpson has been promoted to Regional Manager and will be overseeing sales, account management, and operations across The Yard’s coworking spaces in Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia. Adrian joined The Yard as a Community Manager in New York and quickly moved his way up to Senior Community Manager a year later to open The Yard: Eastern Market in D.C. Prior to joining the company, Adrian was a private consultant at Burberry and worked in guest services and VIP management at luxury hotels.

“My number one goal is to continue to drive growth and retention at The Yard and to be a resource for the amazing community manager teams we have across all of our coworking space locations, ” said Adrian.

Nicholas Minors, who previously managed The Yard: Herald Square in Manhattan and The Yard’s Brooklyn coworking space in Gowanus, has been promoted to Member Experience Manager. In this new role, Nick will be the prime point of contact for large teams and enterprise companies with custom office space needs. With his exceptional communication and hospitality skills, Nick will provide members with an unparalleled client relations experience as he develops big-picture solutions for member-related feedback and requests as well as accommodating long-term company growth and expansion within The Yard. Nick previously worked at a startup entertainment company while earning a B.A. in Corporate Communications from Baruch College.
