On June 21st from 2-9PM, we’re thrilled to be participating in Make Music NY at The Yard: Gowanus! Join us in the courtyard for a full day of live music, brews by Collective Arts Brewing, and a pop-up cafe by Adventure Cafe. Join in on the fun and RSVP here.
We’re excited to bring a day of music to our members at The Yard while supporting a diverse lineup of local musicians. Visitors from across the city (and beyond) are invited to explore the festivities taking place in our sunny courtyard throughout the day. Come out and enjoy the first day of Summer with our inspiring community of entrepreneurs and creatives!
If you’re planning to attend Make Music NY at The Yard and would like to set up a tour of our space ahead of time, you can reach out to email@example.com. We’re looking forward to celebrating with you!
The Music Lineup
Angelica Collado (2-3PM)
Singer and a songwriter from Brooklyn, New York, Angelica Collado’s love for music started with her family from home. Creating poetry attached to melodies became her form of confidence as an artist. Her music provides a story, leaving the person who is listening with a lesson to be learned. Something they can grow from and connect to. Follow Angelica @music1ac.
Sandra Kluge (3-3:30PM)
Sandra Kluge is a tap percussionist born in Germany, based in Brooklyn, and performing and teaching internationally. Get a peek at Sandra Kluge’s style @sandra.kluge.
Gibraltar Jazz (4-5PM)
Featuring guitarist/vocalist Richie Naef and vocalist Phyllis Novin. Together, they create “Jazzabilly” – music that’s retro but rockin’. See what they’re all about here.
Phil and The Osophers (5-6PM)
The musical moniker of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Philip Radiotes. Phil and the Osophers have released work ranging from deeply personal, Dylan-esque bedroom folk to rhythmic, African-inspired, garage-influenced indie rock with Talking Heads quirk. As one would expect from such a band name, philosophical ideas are the lyrical focus. Radiotes’ powerful lyrics encompass revelatory, visionary, and transformative themes, built upon a foundation of novel musical ideas. Check them out @Philandosophers.
Triple Treble Trouble (6-6:45PM)
Breaking down the boundaries between different genres of music, from classical and film music to pop and rock. Find these gals at @triple_treble_trouble.
Brady Oh (7-9PM)
Pop culture has always provided the lens through which we analyze the questions, the answers and the solutions to our love, loss and loneliness. Brady Oh solves these riddles for himself through his songwriting and performance craft leaving others to interpret his words and emotions. What is love? What is life? What is loneliness? Brady Oh understands what these concepts mean to him. He invites you to discover what those concepts may mean to you. Take a look at what Brady Oh’s got going on @brady_oh_show.
Special thanks to Collective Arts Brewing, Adventure Cafe, and all of the folks at Make Music NY. Check out this year’s full schedule here.
