We’re feeling great after the recent BE WELL: Next Beginnings event at The Yard: Herald Square! Together, we’ve forged a clear path towards the next chapter, and we couldn’t feel more ready.
BE WELL: Next Beginnings was the third installment of our quarterly event series presented by The Yard and TRU HAUS as part of The Yard Wellness Program. BE WELL brings together members from The Yard’s coworking community, partners in the health and wellness fields, and local experts for an evening of discussions with a panel of experts, DIY activities, shopping, and giveaways!
Highlights of Be Well 4.18.19
At the beginning of the night, attendees were able to set their intentions with an opening Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Tapping Session led by Jackie Simek. This was followed by breakout activities and workshops throughout the space to promote positive thinking towards “next steps in our journeys”.
Our wellness marketplace provided an opportunity for attendees to sample, learn more, and purchase goods to augment their daily routine. Vendors at the event included partners of The Yard GroundUp, Bada Bean Bada Boom, Runa, Plant People, Half Hippy, Vita Coco, and more. Overlooking the bustle of Herald Square, the serene wellness lounge featured a station with Roots Mindful Acupuncture and food and drinks by Fresh Direct and Tulo House.
A Wellness Panel
After exploring new trends in the wellness industry through hands-on activations and conversations with our brand experts, attendees were invited to a panel at The Stairs. The Yard Operations Manager, Gabriella Truglio, Founder of TRU HAUS, guided the panel on the topic of creating “Next Beginnings” alongside wellness experts Brenna Blackmun of She Is Mindful and health guru Meg Josephson. Together, Brenna, Meg, and Gabriella chatted with attendees about how to actualize their personal and professional futures.
